Historic center of Santana de Parnaíba, Koloniaal erfgoeddistrict in Santana de Parnaíba, Brazilië.
Het historische centrum bevat 209 koloniale gebouwen die zijn gebouwd met traditionele technieken van gestampte aarde en vakwerk uit de 19e eeuw.
De nederzetting begon in 1561 toen de Portugese ontdekkingsreiziger Manuel Fernandes Ramos een basis vestigde tijdens zijn zoektocht naar goud in dit gebied.
Het Passiespel tijdens de Goede Week trekt 35.000 bezoekers naar het historische centrum en is een van de grootste religieuze voorstellingen van Brazilië.
De gemeentelijke overheid investeerde één miljoen reais in behoudprojecten, waaronder restauraties van het Anhanguera Museum en het Monsignor Paulo Florêncio herenhuis.
Het Ambachtsschoolproject, opgericht in 1999, leidt jongeren op in historische bouwtechnieken om de koloniale gebouwen te onderhouden.
