Het R. W. Lindholm tankstation heeft een koperen overkapping boven de pompen en een observatieruimte met glazen wanden.
Het tankstation, voltooid in 1958 voor Ray Lindholm, kostte 20.000 dollar, ongeveer vier keer meer dan standaard tankstations uit die periode.
Frank Lloyd Wright integreerde dit station in zijn Broadacre City-concept als gemeenschappelijk sociaal centrum met observatieruimte.
Het station bevindt zich aan Cloquet Avenue 202, opereert onder het merk Spur en behoudt zijn oorspronkelijke architectonische kenmerken.
Het hoekige uiteinde van de overkapping wijst naar de St. Louis River en creëert een symbolische verbinding tussen water- en autovervoer.
