De Sint-Nicolaaskerk vertoont Russisch-Byzantijnse elementen met twee torens en een achthoekige koepel met traditionele orthodoxe architectuurpatronen.
De bouw van de kerk begon in 1886 onder leiding van drie architecten: Semyon Dmitriyev, Vladislav Grudzin en Sergey Rodionov.
Het gebouw vertegenwoordigt een regionaal cultureel erfgoed dat regelmatige religieuze diensten verzorgt voor de orthodoxe gemeenschap in het district Dmitrovsky.
