Gaiety Theater, Art Deco bioscoop in Ermita, Manila, Filipijnen.
Het Gaiety Theater staat aan de M.H. del Pilar Straat, met geometrische vormen en decoratieve details kenmerkend voor Art Deco architectuur.
Architect Juan Nakpil ontwierp deze bioscoop in 1935, die tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog functioneerde na toestemming van de Japanse autoriteiten.
De instelling diende als belangrijke locatie voor kunstfilms, waarbij expats en Spaanse families werden aangetrokken gedurende het midden van de twintigste eeuw.
Het theatergebouw werd in 2016 gesloopt na jaren van verval en een ingestort dak dat de structurele integriteit compromitteerde.
De Amerikaanse filmproducent Harry Brown, maker van 'La Vida de Jose Rizal', vestigde dit theater als een van de eerste entertainmentlocaties in Manila.
