Cathedral of the Assumption of the Madonna, Katholieke kathedraal in Victoria, Malta
De kathedraal staat in het centrum van Victoria met een Latijns kruisvormige plattegrond en heeft een klokkentoren aan de noordoostzijde.
Gebouwd in 1711 onder leiding van architect Lorenzo Gafà, verving de kathedraal een eerdere structuur die beschadigd was door een aardbeving in 1693.
De kathedraal fungeert als religieus centrum voor het Rooms-katholieke bisdom Gozo, opgericht in 1864.
Bezoekers kunnen het Kathedraalmuseum bezoeken in het gebouw achter de hoofdstructuur om religieuze kunstvoorwerpen te verkennen.
Het plafond van de kathedraal toont een trompe-l'œil schildering in plaats van een fysieke koepel, wat een optische illusie van diepte creëert.
