Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade

Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade is a waterfront path running along Victoria Harbor in Kowloon, stretching about 1.6 kilometers from the ferry pier to the tunnel entrance. The walkway passes buildings housing museums for art, space, and culture, plus a section honoring Hong Kong film actors.

The western section sits where the old Kowloon-Canton Railway once ran, while the eastern part was built on land reclaimed from Hung Hom Bay during the late 1960s. This mixed origin explains how the promenade connects two different parts of the waterfront into one continuous walk.

Walking along this path, you pass major museums and cultural spaces that draw visitors interested in art, space exploration, and entertainment history. The Avenue of Stars celebrates local film figures, creating a place where people pause to remember Hong Kong's cinema past.

You can reach the promenade easily through multiple MTR stations, bus stops, and ferry piers nearby. Along the way, you'll find restrooms, benches to sit on, and small food shops to grab refreshments while you walk.

Every night, the buildings on both sides of the harbor perform a synchronized light and music show called the Symphony of Lights. This free display has become a signature moment that draws crowds to the waterfront after sunset.
