De kerk werd op 28 augustus 2006 ingewijd ter markering van de 60e verjaardag van de Russische overwinning in de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Dit religieuze gebouw vertegenwoordigt orthodoxe christelijke tradities door zijn architectonisch ontwerp met uienvormige koepels en gedetailleerde iconostases.
De kerk houdt regelmatig religieuze diensten en verwelkomt bezoekers die geïnteresseerd zijn in het Russisch-orthodoxe architectonische erfgoed in de regio Moskou.
