Five Mile House heeft traditionele architecturale elementen met houten vloeren, open haarden, houten zitplaatsen en een kleine bar die naar een gelagkamer leidt.
Gebouwd in de 17e eeuw langs de oude Romeinse weg Ermin Street, staat het etablissement bekend als Old Inn volgens documenten uit 1891.
De familie Ruck beheerde de pub van 1930 tot 1995 en creëerde een centraal punt voor gemeenschapsbijeenkomsten.
Het gebouw, gelegen aan Gloucester Road, Duntisbourne Abbots, Cirencester GL7 7JR, is na sluiting in 2015 omgebouwd tot woning.
Het pand bewaart overblijfselen van een oude smederij in de tuin, wat verbinding maakt met de transportgeschiedenis van de vroegere Romeinse weg.
