National Planetarium, Planetarium in Ermita district, Manila, Filipijnen
Het Nationaal Planetarium heeft een koepelstructuur van 16 meter met een capaciteit van 310 zitplaatsen in het centrum van Rizal Park.
Het planetarium opende in oktober 1975 met Japanse financiering als onderdeel van oorlogsherstelbetalingen, met Maximo Sacro Jr als eerste curator.
De tentoonstelling 'Filipijns Leven Geleid door de Hemel' toont astronomische kennis van verschillende etnolinguïstische Filipijnse groepen in zes secties.
De faciliteit is geopend van dinsdag tot zondag tussen 8:30 en 16:30 uur, met toegangsprijzen van 30 tot 50 peso per persoon.
Het planetarium beschikt over een GM-15-S Goto projector die astronomische fenomenen en hemelconfiguraties toont voor educatieve presentaties.
