University of Santo Tomas, Onderzoeksuniversiteit in Sampaloc, Manila, Filipijnen.
De Universiteit van Santo Tomas beslaat 21.5 hectare met gebouwen die architectonische stijlen van Renaissance tot Modernisme vertegenwoordigen.
De instelling, opgericht in 1611 door de Spaanse broeder Miguel de Benavides, is de oudste universiteit met een actief charter in Azië.
De universiteit onderhoudt 26 programma's erkend als Centra voor Excellentie en Ontwikkeling, met 180 specialisaties verdeeld over 22 faculteiten.
Studenten profiteren van het universiteitsziekenhuis, onderzoeksfaciliteiten en sportcomplexen tijdens hun studie in geneeskunde, rechten en techniek.
Het UST-hoofdgebouw, gebouwd tussen 1924 en 1927, vormt de eerste aardbevingsbestendige structuur in Azië.
